Part of this training requires everyone to take a course offered by FEMA and DHS (Department of Homeland Security). Everyone enrolled will be sent instructions on how to take IS-907. The IS-907 course requires everyone to obtain a SID number, which is used instead of your social security number. Once you have taken the course and obtained their SID number you can proceed to taking a 12 question test. Once you have completed the test you will be emailed the results within a few days. You are instructed to send the result/ certificate to professionallearning@nssed.org before the date of your training.
