Community-based instruction (CBI) provides hands-on opportunity for students to engage in authentic learning experiences within their community and acquire the skills needed to complete daily life activities in order to become active participants in their community. In this session, participants will learn about a framework for implementing CBI and have opportunities to develop/modify lesson plans that align to state standards.
COST INFORMATION: Workshop fee* waived for NSSED employees, Member District* employees, and parents of students in our member districts. For individual participants who do not meet the above criteria, certain fees will apply. NSSED reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to low enrollment.
