The presenter will review the structure of the Connecting Math Concepts (CMC) and Distar programs. CMC is appropriate for students in grades K-8, and is particularly effective with students needing review of fundamental math skills. Distar program is typically used for students in grades K-1 and progresses as a slower pace than CMC. Both programs provide scripted teacher lesson plans, ongoing assessment and progress monitoring. Time will be provided for lesson practice.
If participants have a CMC or Distar program, please bring the kit you are using. Additional kits will be provided as needed.
